Roz Savage is the first women to row solo across the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean. Philipp met her in a university class in late 2019 and was amazed not only by her courage but also by the dramatic shift her life had taken. After being a management consultant for 11 years, Roz wrote her own funeral speech. Five years later she somehow found herself alone in the middle of the ocean in a rowing boat. She told us how rowing for 12 hours a day with a sore bottom feels like, how to listen to your soul to find meaning and how to make your wildest dreams become a reality step-by-step. As Roz had so many inspiring things to say, we decided to make this a two part series. We will publish Part 2 next Wednesday at midnight.
